How much disk space I need for XP Pro and Office 2003?

About how much disk space I need on a hard drive to install Windows XP Pro and Office 2003? I use a small hard drive (10 Gigabit) to store my OS and main program files and use my hard drive long to the storage media. Thank you.

This depends largely on what you plan to do with the team. The XP Pro installation will take about 3 GB, XP Pro, but by default it tries to create a 3 GB file page, so you only have a 6GB HD window complain right away you have low disk space. Of course, you can reduce the size of the swap file to correct this. Office takes up about 500MB, if you do the full installation. So basically wants to have at least 8 GB or less, if only to use the office. If you plan to do anything else go bigger. It is difficult to find new 40GB hard drives smaller more and you can get them for about $ 45 so if you need more space I recommend. It is also important that with XP that has at least 256 MB of RAM for a decent performance. 512 is recommended.
